SeekingAlpa.com has a great pool of investment related articles and gives investors some insight into the thoughts of other investors and investment managers. There are lots of investment myths out there and ‘rules of thumb’ that you hear about from time to time. The old chestnut of ‘sell in may and go away’ has really worked out badly for anyone that followed its mantra this year.  The lesson I’ve learned from this article – beware of those who try to time the markets or offer short term advice on equities!
